               I am working on my outline and was wondering about the format. The instructor's directions do not clarify for me about if  I need the third level subpoints designated by the lowercase letters or just

Main Ideas (I, II, III)

Subpoints (A,B,C)

Second level subpoints (1,2,3)

Do I also, need the third level? (a,b,c)

Also, ideally how many citations or references may I use?
