Yesterday I was denied the opportunity to attent my graduation. I took a congratulatory letter etc. (yesterday) as proof of my course completion to the US embassy to acquire a visa to travel to the graduation ceremony. The interviewing agent said that Ahsworth letter was not sufficient. I needed a more detailed stamped letter from the college. I was denied the opportunity to attend my graduation. It is probably too late in the day to have this rectified but if you could address same I will be grateful.
I have already registered for graduation and received my cords, gown, cap etc. Might not get to walk based on what was said before. I have a few questions however.
1. Could my graduation funds paid be re-imbursed or credited to My Ashworth account? ( I am currenting doing another Ashworth course)
2. Is there a formal communique with Ashworth College and US travel department re graduates of Ashworth College being able to attend their graduation?
