I'll try to make this short, So I signed up for the Basic Electronics program as a stepping stone to find a better job with the ultimate goal of saving & eventually working towards an Associate or Bachelor in Computer Science so that I can go into Networking Administration. For my schooling specifically I demoted from an Assistant Manager down to a Customer Service Rep for Dominos Pizza(Obviously not the best job to put down on a resume given the various criminals the industry has had over the years)Since I'm really only working weekends & have alot of extra time on my hands & would like to gain some work experience prior to graduation but ultimately I'd like to be doing something that can be corelated to Networking.
All that said & done I know I'll be looking for jobs as a Technician(A Position that is expected to decline over the next few years)in various organizations like Goodwill, Internet Service Providers, My local Government, Etc. So my main questions are does anybody
- Recommend any specific place or other job I can get with this Career Certificate/Diploma
- Know of any specific industries that often has positions to fill aside from construction
- Have a more efficient recommendation in finding a job other than going up to every random business & asking if theyre looking for help
I should probably clarify that this is largely a search for experience & not any additional income as references & social networking is my prime concern until I graduate from my current program.
